Your choices
You can use popular recommendations without personalization. Optional viewing and preference storage starts only after you choose to allow personalization. You can change that choice and clear your history using Privacy settings in the footer or policy navigation. Refusing personalization does not prevent playback. The current optional choice also controls external video advertisements: choosing Essential only disables external preroll requests and tracking pixels.
Essential storage
A first-party age declaration cookie remembers your entry choice for up to one year. A consent cookie remembers your privacy preference. Short-lived playback tokens protect streaming access. These cookies support access, security, and your choices. A random identifier in temporary tab storage keeps streaming limits consistent when you reload or navigate within the same browser tab.
A random first-party anonymous identifier is issued on your first visit in an HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax cookie lasting up to one year. Recommendation events and viewing history are associated with it only when you allow personalization. A random identifier can still be personal data; it is not your name or a device fingerprint.
Optional recommendations
With your consent, we record video IDs, impressions, clicks, playback starts, watch milestones, likes or dislikes, searches, tag choices, recommendation row names, and times, linked to the random first-party identifier.
Recent viewing records, video IDs, watch progress, and times may also be stored in your browser, with a maximum of 200 videos. The server keeps a bounded recent preference profile. We do not use your IP address, browser fingerprint, or a third-party machine learning service to personalize recommendations.
Raw recommendation events are retained for up to 90 days, then removed by the scheduled maintenance worker. Non-identifying aggregate counts may remain. Clearing history deletes the current anonymous cookie, current aybrahub viewing records, and server recommendation records linked to that browser identity. Clear your browser's site data to remove older, disconnected browser storage. Backup copies expire according to our backup retention schedule and are not used for active recommendations.
Security and service operation
Our hosting and delivery systems process network addresses to deliver requests and apply country restrictions. Short-lived hashed network keys are used for rate limits and abuse prevention, independently of recommendations. Infrastructure providers may process access logs to secure and operate the service. Security records are used for abuse prevention and are not used to personalize recommendations.
Bites and anonymous visit counts
Bites uses a separate recommendation profile. With personalization enabled, the server keeps up to 200 recent Bites viewing records for up to 90 days. Bites recommendations use its own tags, reactions, and completion percentages. Long-form viewing history is not used. Choosing Essential only stops and removes Bites viewing records.
If you press Like or Dislike, a keyed hash of your anonymous cookie records one changeable vote per Bite. These choices remain until you undo them, clear your history, or the Bite is deleted. Clearing history also removes your Bites votes and adjusts their public totals. Optional personalization uses those choices only while enabled.
A lightweight heartbeat while this tab is visible counts active anonymous browser identities over the last five minutes. Redis keeps a separate keyed hash, without IP addresses or device fingerprints. The active set expires after six minutes without heartbeats. An approximate daily unique count follows UTC and expires after two days. Known crawlers and the administrator's authenticated browser are excluded. These counts support service operation.
If you arrive through a link tagged with a utm_source label, a first-party cookie stores only that label for up to 30 days. The heartbeat then adds the same keyed hash to an approximate daily count for that label, kept for about 35 days. No IP address or device fingerprint is used.
Reports
A report contains its reason, details, optional contact email, referenced video, creation time, and moderator outcome. Only authorized administrators can access the queue. Avoid including sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the report. Closed reports are removed by scheduled maintenance after one year; open reports remain until reviewed.
Advertising and service providers
Hosting, database, CDN, and advertising providers may receive information necessary to serve their content. External advertising can send network addresses and device information to an advertiser. Selecting Allow personalization & ads permits configured external preroll requests, ad video delivery, and ad tracking pixels. Their providers may process your network address and device information independently of aybrahub recommendations. Selecting Essential only or clearing your history stops future external preroll requests; it cannot erase data already received by an advertiser. Advertiser destinations explain their own privacy practices. You can decline optional processing and still stream available videos.
International processing and your rights
Our primary hosting is in the European Union. Service providers may process information in other locations where necessary to deliver their services. We use your consent for optional recommendations and advertising, and process information needed to provide the service, protect it from abuse, and respond to reports. You may contact us to request access, correction, erasure, or other rights available under the law that applies to you, and may complain to your competent privacy regulator.
Children
This service is for adults only. Do not enter if you are under 18 or below your local minimum age. If you believe information from a minor has been collected, report it so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
